Classic SF neighborhood coffee house with serious regulars and great vibes. No frills, all quality.

Must get:Any coffee — sit down and soak in the neighbor vibe

Flywheel Coffee

Small, community-rooted coffee shop at the edge of GGP. Perfect after park runs.

Must get:Flat White

Oakland-rooted, people-forward coffee right at the Ferry Building. Smooth, well-sourced, and steps from Rincon Park.

Stella Pastry

A North Beach institution and the reward for climbing to Coit Tower. Italian pastries done right — the sacripantina is legendary.

Devil's Teeth Baking Company

Arguably the best breakfast sandwich in SF. We ran 3 miles with only 100ft of gain specifically to earn this one.

Must get:Breakfast Sando w/ Avocado

North Beach

Liguria Bakery

A North Beach institution since 1911. Cash only, focaccia sold out by noon. Worth every bit of the hustle.

Specialty Indonesian coffee in the Marina. Known for unique flavors you won't find anywhere else in SF — think pandan and gula melaka.

A cozy Yemeni café in SoMa known for spiced lattes and traditional pastries. Warm and welcoming, with flavors you won't find anywhere else in the city.
